If you like cherries you will absolutely love this tree. This fruit is the tropical equivalent of the cherry and just as difficult to resist. The fruit is borne in clusters and is delicious eaten fresh. The yellow form is almost identical to the dark form apart from the yellow fruit. Grows very well in south-east Queensland.

Currently approx 30 and grows 2-5m high. Grows well in subtropical and warm temperate regions and can handle some frosts. Self pollinating so you only need one tree and can be grown in pots to keep the tree smaller. Like a sunny position with 80 to 100% sun.
