I attempted to include a stretch during the falling portion of the animation for the mango as well as a bit of it during the stone being thrown.
Theres no team, no outside sources, just me and my free time from work.

This animation was done using animate cc. Its the software ive grown to love since my high school days and no matter the software i try out, this one always feels the easiest to use.

Hello, Darren. Channae here. Just offering some constructive feedback as required for the challenge. Lovely work you've done. I saw the stretch you've incorporated, but it could be a bit more noticeable. Also, your animation doesn't seem to have any squash in it, and these two principles usually go hand in hand. You could put the squash right before the stretch when the mango falls, or after it hits the ground, as the impact would make it squash then settle into a normal, relaxed shape. Otherwise, great work and good luck with your future endeavors.

Hi Darren, thanks for submitting. Apologies for the late reply, I was waiting on the feedback from the judge. Below are his comments:

His comments: (The scene would benefit for an establishing shot showing the character looking at the tree before throwing, this would give the audience more information before the throw. That said I really like the animation)

Meet the judge for the January challenge:
