As an art teacher with a deep passion for the Visual Arts, I’ve always been drawn to 2D animation and am eager to learn how to create it myself. While I have no formal training, I’ve explored various software over the years. My first exposure to Toon Boom rigging was challenging due to its steep learning curve, but I’ve found tools like Macromedia Flash Professional 8 to be more accessible for me, inspiring me to take the first step.The January Squash and Stretch Challenge feels like the perfect opportunity to grow as a self-taught digital artist. Some principles and terminologies of animation are new to me, but I’m excited to learn and improve through this experience. Unfortunately, I faced some technical difficulties signing up on the website and lost time that could have been spent recording the early stages of my animation. I only hope that what I’ve submitted meets the requirements, as I’m determined to make the most of this challenge and continue developing my skills."
