A detailed reduction of the famous Pieta Statue by Michelangelo. The Virgin is depicted unusually young and delicate compared to the older sorrowing Mary of most Pietàs. A very unique sculpture and the only one ever signed by the renown artist, due to romours that visitors thought his statue had been sculpted by Cristoforo Solari, competitor sculptor.
